School Profile / Mission: Located just 75 minutes north of Milwaukee Wisconsin, St. Lawrence Seminary sits atop a tall hill overlooking the small farming community of Mt. Calvary. St. Lawrence Seminary offers an environment built upon the Franciscan traditions of prayer and community life. Our students are asked to consider dedicating their lives to service within the Catholic Church as priests, brothers, married deacons, parish administrators or Catholic laymen. Our academic program is college oriented and strives to teach our students how to study and how to learn. We have an interscholastic and intramural sports program as well as many other activities, both on and off campus. Personal spiritual direction and service ministry hours are required for graduation. Our student population is very diverse and come from many states and various foreign countries. All our students are Catholic. Students return home for all the major holidays, for summer, and for some weekends. Sundays are free days. Academic scholarships and generous financial aid are available from our endowment fund.
